I am not getting a dial tone.
Check the cords. Be sure they are connected correctly.
I cannot dial using this phone.
Ensure the Tone/Pulse switch is in the correct position. Also, check that the line cord is plugged into the house telephone jack and the telephone line connection jack.
When I use this phone, the person I am talking to cannot hear me.
Verify that the coil handset cord is connected at both ends.
When I use this phone, the volume is low on the incoming and outgoing voices.
Check to see if extension phones are off the hook. It is normal for volume to drop when two phones are used at the same time.
My telephone will not ring.
Check that the ringer volume control switch isn\'t set to OFF. Are you using too many phones on the same line? The total REN of all the phones should not be more than the maximum REN value, usually 5.0.
